From Overwhelm to Equilibrium
A tiny sip of social media this afternoon took me under. Ripe with worry for the world and humanity, I found myself swirling with fear and sadness. This, after a wonderful weekend enjoying nature and the presence of my family in Northern Michigan. A tiny sip swelled until my head and heart were full of concern and the gratitude I was filled with slipped away.
And so, I went for a walk. I found a field, removed my shoes, and walked slowly—grounding my energy and using the magic of nature to bring me back to myself and the here and now. As I walked, I thought of how extreme everything feels right now. Subtle and obvious tug-of-wars happening everywhere I look...

The Art of Coming Home
On the hardest day of my Camino walk, I discovered the profound creative power that emerges when we slow down enough to truly connect with nature. A moment by a river in Hospital de Bruma taught me what it really means to come home to ourselves.

Slow Down, Walk Lightly
Day 2 of my Camino walk, and I was already lost. Fidgeting through my first day of detox from constant busyness, I was unskilled at simply being present. When I asked the universe for a sign I was on the right path, what appeared next changed everything about how I move through life.

The Smile of Content: Finding My Path on the Camino
Just returned from a life-changing 6-day walk on the Camino Ingles, and I'm still processing the profound transformation. What I went seeking—deeper connection to myself, nature, and humanity—I found in abundance.
On day five, a powerful dialogue came to me about "the path of the pilgrim" and finding true contentment by slowing down and being fully present. It captures the essence of what I discovered: we're all walking the path of life, but most of us are rushing through it unconsciously.
This is just a glimpse of what's to come as I share the full journey—700+ photos, daily reflections, and the moments of clarity that reminded me what it feels like to be wholly and completely myself. The pilgrimage gave me exactly what I was looking for, and I can't wait to take you along on the adventure.

The gentle art of becoming
I do not yet know what seed I am or exactly what I am meant to be. I do trust that will become clear in time. As I slowly grow this Spring, sprouting up through the soil, I will be something. I will take up space. I will be what I am meant to be. I will be where I am meant to be.

Sacred Wisdom
Darkness is not something to run from. It is a necessary companion in the dance of wholeness, a portal to transformation. When I root myself in the earth and open to spirit, I find peace. I remember the yin and yang of being human: the dance of shadow and light, the magic of becoming.

Music as a healing tool
In moments of struggle, when finding the light feels impossible, music whispers that hope is still alive.

Dear Grace
You are light. You are dark. You are everything and connected to everything.
